Trained in Nice and Paris, Eugene Begarat travels to Italy, Tunisia, Morroco and Spain before coming back to Paris and settling in Provence in 1993. He there develops a style derived from the post-impressionist and “divisionist” advances, showing affinities with the works of Seurat and Gaugin. |
