|
Acclaimed as one of Morocco's most prominent artist, Yamou's career spans 20 years. He regularly exhibits in the Arab world (Morocco, Dubai, Kuwait), Europe (France, England, Spain) and in the USA, both in galleries and intitutions/museums. His subject matter is derived from his passion for the vegetal world (he studied biology in Paris), re-interpreted in a personal style which has led to the creation of a distinctive signature. Works by the artist are featured in many prominent collections, amongst which: Morocco: Royal Palace, Ministry of Culture, Marakech Museum; Foundations: Actua, Ona and Societe Generale USA: Neuberger Museum, NY; Collection Elie Tahari, N.Y. Fondation Couperin, Paris; Fondation Lazaar, Tunis; Nelson Mandela Collection, South Africa. |
